Growing up in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Andy Richardson became aware of house and club music from an early age, Moving to England at 17 he bought his first set of turntables for his 18th birthday, but it was one radio show on the BBC that made a lasting impression: “The Love Groove Dance Party” with host Danny Rampling. Andy was hooked on the more soulful, deep tech house sounds of the show, and became obsessed with DJs like Frankie Knuckles, Masters at Work, Jazzy M, Tony Humphries, David Morales & labels such as Defected & Subliminal. Now almost 18 years later and residing in Virginia, and still with the passion for house music, Andy isn’t just a DJ, hes a student and disciple of the house sound. and he loves nothing more than to bring people together with the music,



Ben is a DJ / Producer based out of Charlottesville, VA. At a young age, he heard house music for the first time, inspiring him to purchase turntables and learn the art of DJ'ing. Growing up listening to artists like Tall Paul, John Digweed, Chemical Brothers, and the Prodigy, he began learning music production. He is now producing tech-house, electro, and progressive house styles of music.

At his core, he believes music is a bridge between our physical world and our spiritual being. It is his goal to help facilitate that experience so that, despite the differences between us, we may all experience unity in our human experience.


Owen Alek

Owen has been experimenting with production and recording since high school in suburban Philadelphia. While attending Virginia Tech, he became enamored with the ethereal sounds of ambient down-tempo techno. Artists such as Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin greatly influenced his approach to production, and opened the door to the electronic underground.

Having lived up and down the east coast, he has spent time immersed in the music scenes of New York, Philadelphia, DC, Virginia, the Carolinas, and Florida. A dedicated listener, raver, organizer, and producer, he has absorbed the local tastes and mirrored them back in his own mixes and creations.

Now based in Charlottesville, Virginia, with a newfound love for the nuances of house and bass music, he hopes to lend a helping hand pushing the local scene to new heights, discovering new artists and sharing a lifelong love of music with a world in the midst of a dance music revolution.


Omar Faison

Omar Faison is based out of the Richmond, VA area. A house fan since the early 90’s, Omar began dj’ing in 1996 and since that time has held several residencies across VA and Washington, DC. He has played venues from NYC to Miami to San Diego. In 2012, Omar began Flow, a series of house events around the Richmond area. Currently, Flow is held monthly every 3rd Saturday at Emilio’s in Richmond, VA.

Influenced by international names like Mark Farina, Josh Wink, Kerri Chandler, Kenny Dope, Joe Claussel, and Osunlade, as well as Washington, DC’s Sam “The Man” Burns, Omar’s sets are a mix of deep, soulful, and afro house flavors blended for maximum appeal to dancefloors and lounges. Whether you are a head-bobber, foot-shuffler, or full on body-jacker, Omar has a sound for you.



A visual artist and interior design student with a love, dedication, and passion for the underground sound and the art of mixing on the turntables and event / atmosphere creation.

Veteran of the old electronic music culture (early 90's) starting in Washington, DC and moving to Richmond, VA, beginning as a dancer and partier to being an event creator and promoter in the Richmond Family from 1994-2007 while attending VCU as an art student.


Teresa Ann

Passionately involved in the house music scene for decades, the up-and-coming DJ Teresa Ann can be found spinning her unique take on house in the Hampton Roads, VA area. R&B and hip-hop influences can be heard in her special blend of tech, bass and deep house, creating a signature sound that keeps dance floors jumping at venues such as 37th & Zen, Ry Lounge and Buko Resto-Bar. Her influences include Doc Martin, Bad Boy Bill, Gettoblaster and DJ Marky.



LAZ3RUS is a DJ/Producer duo from VA! Together they combine their influences to spin DJ sets that are both classic and new.

Born in Richmond, VA, the brothers of Mike and Tom (aka Tom Terror) have influences ranging from House to Hip-Hop to Classical.

Mike, a Pianist and Producer, developed his production chops while working as a studio musician in a Philly based production company called Noize Trip.

Tom developed his craft spinning in DC venues such as UltraBar and GlowRage in VA.

They both grew up going to warehouse raves in DC & Richmond, which created a longstanding influence and love for the music and DJ’s. The 2 brothers naturally morphed into what is now LAZ3RUS, with a primary objective to lift dead spirits with the power of House Music!


DJ Cadence

DJ Cadence, a.k.a. Sam Ranson, is from Charlottesville, VA. He loves all forms of music, but his passion is drum and bass. Anyone who happens upon him while playing in a darkly lit venue will find themselves having to stop for a moment and just take in the soul stirring melody churning from the speakers. He has played many events in the RVA, NOVA/DC and Cville areas, large and small, and has been asked to play the Winter Music Conference in Miami on more than one occasion. Cadence has a style all his own, and his set will take you from deep liquid groove to hard, driven, dark ass drum and bass before you realize that he has switched the gears on you. His laid back style and drama free approach to life endear him to all that have met or worked with him. Long Live the DnB Massive.
